Ouimette, Gertrude (Marriage - 3 JUNE 1933)
Miss Gertrude Ouimette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ouimette of 1108 16th Ave. S. E., Minneapolis, former residents of Abbotsford, became the bride of Edward H. Baertschy, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Baertschy of Eau Claire, Saturday, June 3rd, at Superior, the ceremony taking place at 4 o’clock at the parsonage of the Hammond Avenue Presbyterian church, the pastor, the Rev. J. G. Senty (Sealy?) officiating.
Miss Elaine Ouimette, sister of the bride, was the only attendant. She wore a gown of pale green organdy and wore a shoulder corsage. Mr. Morris J. Cooke of Rochester, Minn., was the best man.
The bride wore a gown of white lace fashioned along fitted lines with a collar and sash of white organdy. She carried a bouquet of pale yellow roses and white sweet peas.
The young couple will make their home in Eau Claire.
